very happy with my first Alienware laptop

The price on this has gone up since I ordered it. I was concerned that there would be something wrong with it, because the price was so reasonable for the specs. I have found nothing wrong with this unit, and I am very pleased and impressed with it overall. The only difficulty I had was with upgrading the drivers, but with persistence I got that sorted out. Also, I find the trackpad poorly positioned and awkward. For how easy it is to upgrade most of the components of this computer, it is a shame that the trackpad can't be switched out.

Still an excellent gaming laptop

Well, overall it's just an excellent gaming laptop, yet you will need to purchase an additional SSD for it if you pursue the fastest boot and transfer. The reason why I give four stars because my first one has defective pixel on the touchpad, however thanks amazon I got a quick replacement.
