Great so far!
By Jim
I researched several laptops before purchasing this one. Using Amazon Prime it arrived in two days after I purchased in perfect running condition. I've had it a week now and I was amazed to find this level of performance for only $599 on Amazon. It is more than capable of any computing (mostly MS Office Suite programs), skyping, and game playing that I do (granted I only play games like CIV V and Empire Total War, but it handles them on highest settings without a hitch). I love how cool this computer keeps itself. You can set it on your lap and type on it and it never gets hot. My old laptop was very hot to touch, so this is an added bonus. The only thing that I don't like is Windows 8, but everything comes with that version of Windows these days.

Not great, but a very good deal anyway. Recommended.
By Marco Antonio
This is a good computer based on the price. But let's see the Pros and the Cons of the F75VD-NS51:
PROs
- Nice screen, big enough to play and design with enough bright and contrast to burn your eyes
- Good specs for the price: Intel i5 CPU 2.6 Ghz, 6GB RAM, 1GB Nvidia GeForce GT-610M dedicated video, 750GB Hard Disk. HDMI, 1 USB 3.0 (+2 USB 2.0 ports), Card Reader
- It keeps really cool and quiet even after hours
- Altec-Lansing audio offers a nice sound (even when the speakers are on the bottom)
- Not too heavy for the size
- Not too much bloatware installed compared to other brands
- Great price
CONs
- Not so good video performance due to the graphic video card that process video only in 64bits, not in 128bits or 192bits like many gamer-oriented laptops
- The speakers are on the bottom, so I recommend you to use a cooler in order to keep it tilt and enjoy the sound better (do not even try to use it on the bed - not a good practice anyway- or you will mute the speakers immediately)
- The tight distribution of the keyboard needs a little learning curve to get used to it
- 100% plastic, not aluminium at all, but looks good anyway.
Well, I think is very good product for the price, you can find better laptops used here for $800 but we are talking about a brand new product.
I never had any problem with the touchpad but I use a mouse (Logitech are the best!) because is easier to work and edit photos with it.
Definitely not for gamers but you can surf the web, edit documents, watch photos and videos, you can even do minor graphic design taks and play games in medium detail level without any problem.
I would recommend this product.

The perfect laptop for what I need
By Alexander Douglas
The perfect laptop for what I need. I am a Web Developer that does some gaming, and this machine does everything I need it to. Gaming could obviously be better, but it runs most of my Steam games without any problems.
